To make a long story short, aberdeen audiology took great care of me. Asked me detailed questions, listened, and provided. I am very grateful for them, and I recommend people that are wanting answers to go to Aberdeen audiology to get their answers because they’re the right ones!

The staff is extremely professional and explained treatment options is clear, easy to understand terms.

​I'm deeply disturbed by the lack of empathy and the cold, judgmental energy of this office. I fully acknowledge that missing two back-to-back appointments is frustrating and that a doctor’s time is valuable; however, my absences were not due to a lack of respect, but due to the unpredictable nature of being a mother to a high-needs special needs child and relying entirely on Medicaid Community Transit for transportation. My first absence was for my son, and today’s was a transit scheduling mix-up. ​When I called at 3:30 to responsibly explain what happened with my 1:30 appointment, the receptionist was incredibly dismissive. Instead of explaining a professional office policy, she used the time gap as a weapon to make me out to be an irresponsible person, acting as though I was so "bad" that they simply didn't want to work with me anymore. I could already sense a lack of kindness from the audiologist, Thomas Goyne, during a previous interaction, and that judgmental attitude clearly trickles down to his staff. I literally begged the receptionist to just ask him for one exception, but she flatly refused to even speak with him. It was obvious that Thomas Goyne had already instructed her not to work with me, choosing to personally punish and shame a struggling parent over life circumstances rather than acting with basic human compassion. It's shocking that a practice with a 4.8 rating treats patients with such a heartless and superior attitude.

Dr Goyne has been working with my husband for about a year with ongoing tinnitus issues. Although he is still having difficulty, we find Dr. Goyne compassionate and very knowledgeable regarding the latest treatment for this condition. His office has the latest technology that has been approved by the FDA (Lenire). His Youtube videos are very helpful and what prompted me to pursue his office after seeing multiple other specialist. We feel he is in the best hands and hopeful for long lasting relief. We highly recommend Dr Goyne over other Tinnitus specialist in the are.

I'm so happy I found Aberdeen Audiology and Dr. Goyne. I've suffered from tinnitus for about 30 years - a result of many ear tube and reconstructive surgeries. I actually read about LENIRE in Norman Doidge's book, The Brain's Way of Healing, and my wife found Aberdeen Audiology through YouTube. The device was quite helpful, and within a couple of months, I found myself thinking less and less about my tinnitus. As they will tell you, it likely does not eliminate the sound, but in my case, it definitely reduced the noise. After meeting with Dr. Goyne several times, we decided to work on my hearing, which had been greatly diminished over the years. I've used hearing aids for over a decade, but never found them very helpful. My new devices are incredible and not only help with hearing loss but also with residual tinnitus noise. I highly recommend Aberdeen Audiology and all they have to offer.

I mean what can you say to someone who gifts you the ability to hear clear after nearly 40 something years of struggling, and searching for a method to assist with my auditory processing disorder and not make it so profound. I was at my wits end, and after crying and throwing frustration fits because I thought I was out of answers, I gave up hope thinking that there wasn't any resource available. The thought of living the remainder of life with the demoralizing effects of APD was very overwhelming. That was until I discovered Aberdeen Audiology in Wayne Pa. It wasn't until I discovered Aberdeen Audiology through a mutual connection that my road to hearing clarity would begin. I live in Philadelphia and I had no problem traveling via train to Stratford Pa, to their offices. I was willing to travel the ends of the earth to get assistance for my APD. Stratford was a hop and skip from the regional rail line. And so worth the time and expense to traverse there. After a few hours of diagnostic testing, it was determined that I suffered badly with Decoding issues. I was then fitted with these amazing technological devices in a color of my choice. And so my path to hearing clarity began. I was retested after two weeks of wear, and my APD had improved significantly. It's now been about a year and a few months, and I feel so much more confident. It's like the first time I ever experienced words and phrases with such clarity and sharpness. I discovered I had to ask folks less "what were you saying", that felt incredible! I consider Aberdeen Audiology a Godsend, and I'm so immensely grateful and blessed to have a doctor like Dr. Goines and his staff assist me every step of the way. They are extremely knowledgeable about APD/CAPD and you don't have to question their professionalism, that's superior! If you struggle with APD/CAPD and I suppose other kinds of hearing issues, don't hesitate in reaching out to Aberdeen Audiology for all your hearing needs. You won't go wrong! And if you have struggled for as long as I have with APD/CAPD, (nearly 40+ years,) after you meet with these great folks, you can be rest assured, your days of struggling will be fewer!! I have ongoing issues with my Phonak hearing aids because of me! When that happens I reach out to Aberdeen Audiology office on Wayne. They almost always find some time that same day to have me drop by. And they always solve the issues quickly. I could not conistently the the benefits from my hearing aids without their support. Jim

Immensely happy with experience and solutions. I took my son to get evaluated for Audio processing disorder and the audio training and hear aids have been life changing for him. Although I had been recommended hearing aids before, I was reluctant to try them because I didn't know what I was missing. As a first time hearing aid user, I had so many questions regarding my options. Establishing care with Aberdeen Audiology was the best decision I could have made regarding my hearing health! His recommendations were spot on and instantaneously I was able to hear sounds that I had not heard in years. I've now purchased my second pair of hearing aids from here and I cannot tell you how delighted I am. Even better i recently went to Florida for business and though I might have an issue with one so I visited a local Audiologist. She was kind of amazed. She said they were perfectly matched for my hearing loss. When I told her they were fitted using real-ear technology she got really excited because only about 20%-30% of practicing audiologist do such fitting. Look on the internet and you'll see it is highly recommended so I was really comforted to learn my hearing aids were fitted properly. Dr. Goyne knows what he is doing.

I am so glad I found Aberdeen Audiology. The staff is great and the service is excellent. I had a minor problem and I walked in and they took care of it right away. I think they are the best at what they do.

Dr. Goyne is technically a terrific medical professional, who also clearly understands the critical role that hearing, or lack thereof, plays in a patient's quality of life. I am currently trying hearing aids with the latest technology; if I decide in favor of these hearing aids they will be my third set from Aberdeen Audiology. Dr. Goyne has patiently explained the features and benefits so that together we were able to set achievable expectations if I decide to make a change. Unlike going to my primary care doc, he actually remembers who I am, what my challenges are, and where I am in your progress. I was referred by a friend from High School as my Dad needed hearing aids but felt it easier for me to yell and repeat myself 3 times. This Dr. Goyle was able to finesse my crochety old Dad and takes such good care. He is delight and so knowledgeable.

I am 62 years old and came to Aberdeen Audiology after already wearing hearing aids for a few years. I have mild to moderate hearing loss across higher frequencies but mainly need hearing aids to help relieve the tinnitus that I experience. After having a hearing test there a pair of Phonak aids was suggested. The Phonaks work well but the attention that I have received from Mr.Goynes to program them is what has really made the difference. I've had several meetings with him and have received great treatment.
